Known today as an upmarket venue for weddings and corporate entertainment, the history of Langrish House goes back to the seventeenth century, and possibly beyond.
The ‘Lady of the Manor’ explains some of the property’s history and its association with eight generations of the Talbot Ponsonby family.
Robina Talbot Ponsonby is speaking to Claire Vennis of Petersfield Community Radio.

My parents lived at Langrish House in 1965 for a few months, before moving to a cottage on the Tyrhit Drake estate. They were called Tim and Virginia Bishop, and had just left the George Inn at East Meon, where they had been for 8 years. Please can you remind me of the names of the Talbot Ponsonby family who lived there at the time?
I live at Alton now, not far away.
