Around 400 beer drinkers, an Oompah band and authentic Bavarian costumes: a little piece of Germany came to Petersfield when the Oktoberfest party took over the Festival Hall.
Our reporter Alan Cosh sampled the atmosphere and met the organisers, musicians, chefs and waitresses who made the day come alive.
