Today is United Nations’ World Environment Day, with the theme “Time for Nature”.

Beth Svarovska from Petersfield Community Radio learns from guests about biodiversity and what conserving it means for local people and councils.

Is World Environment Day going to help us keep some of the benefits of nature that we’ve experienced during the lockdown?

You’ll hear from our environment correspondent Beth Svarovska, Petersfield resident Julie Yardley, a gardener who prefers to be known as “a guardian of nature”, Melanie Oxley, ecologist and local resident, and Jane Devlin, the climate and environment lead for East Hampshire District Council.
