The Government has announced that everyone will have to wear face coverings in all shops from 24 July and those failing to comply will face a fine of up to £100.The move will bring England into line with Scotland and other European nations like Spain, Italy and Germany.

Tattoo Lounge in Petersfield is opening today. It is unable to do any facials, or piercings. So no oral, noses or eyebrows can be done at the moment.
Don’t forget, on 1 August the government will no longer be sending food parcels to shielded residents. If you are a shielded resident and would like to reserve a priority internet shopping slot at your local supermarket, you must register by 17 July, so only two days left.
Travel
Swan Street is closed between the junction at Borough Hill and the junction with Chapel Street, while new underground electrical circuits are installed. This work is set to continue until the first week of August.
Work continues in Frenchman’s Road from the junction with Bedford Road to the junction with Borough Hill, but is set to be completed this week.
There is two-way traffic control in Winchester Road at the junction with Stonham Park while gas repairs are underway. Work has also started in Winchester Road this week to improve the highway, so this may cause some delays.
