TPS opens its doors to students tomorrow (Thursday) and its Principal, Mark Marande explains what differences parents and students will notice when they step into the building.

Why are the older children, particularly year 11 losing 20 minutes schooling a day when the media is suggesting that the school day should be extended to make up for the tine they have missed ?
Break and lunchtimes have had to be rearranged/staggered and tutor time has been reduced to allow students to leave school at different times. Students will lose no lesson time.
He indicated finish times are staggered … so I guess start and finish times will both adjust – so little change in day duration.
