A class of Petersfield school children has raised more than one hundred pounds for the Shine Radio crowdfunder appeal.
Class 1G at Churchers College organised a fundraising treasure map after being inspired to raise the money by teachers at the school.
They collected a total of one hundred and fifteen pounds by selling spaces on the map for prizes. Students Isabelle and Barney said almost everyone in year 1 got involved.
They are talking to Churcher’s College academic registrar and Shine Radio volunteer Ian Crossman.
Crowdfunder Appeal
The Crowdfunder Appeal continues until Tuesday.
If the appeal hits its target, Shine Radio will invest in equipment to bring live church services to radio listeners, including lonely and isolated people in our community.
