St Peter’s Church launches its Christmas Appeal

In 2019, through collections at Carol Services, St Peters Church in Petersfield raised £4000. This significantly contributed to their ability to run a diverse programme of activities, bring together the community and provide a meeting place for both regular church goers and those who simply need friendship, support and a place to go.

2020 has been challenging for everyone and without help they will be limited in what they can provide in 2021.

The Christmas Appeal aims to raise funds to support the churchx’s community work and the people of Petersfield in 2021.

If you’d like to donate, you can do so here. https://cafdonate.cafonline.org

Town Mayor, Lesley Farrow is working with the local Salvation Army to provide festive hampers this year.

Requests for this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Hampers are likely to exceed 250. These are being put together by The Salvation Army.

Funds have been received from East Hampshire District Council, Lions Club and The Salvation Army to support the hampers effort.

The Salvation Army will also be distributing Christmas Gifts to children of families in need. The Salvation Army Band will be providing Christmas Carols in the streets of Petersfield and surrounding areas where possible.
