Cheerful Grimsby fishmonger Daniel Gilbert drives down to Petersfield every Wednesday with fish, fresh from Grimsby’s famous fish markets.
It’s a 450 mile round trip, but it’s Daniel’s mission to bring the best of the northern fish markets to Petersfield.
This interview was recorded last year. Daniel no longer comes to Petersfield Market – though as of April 2021, Butcher and Larder offers fish from Emsworth. .
