A new bicycle buddies scheme in Petersfield aims to attract new or rusty riders back onto their bikes.
They’ll be taken under the wings of more experienced cyclists – buddies – who’ll give them support and encouragement to go out and ride for pleasure and to use their bikes as a means of everyday transport.
Organiser Lynn Paterson explained how it came about and how the scheme is planned to operate to Shine Radio’s Meg Allin.
What you need
- A bike of your own or one you can borrow
- a cycling helmet
