I have only lived in Petersfield for 21÷years and it has just this evening 24th Feb 21 come to notice of the festival hall refurb proposals. Reported just a year ago as potentually a 2 to 3 million pounds.project it is now niegh on 12 million. I have just read there was a committee meeting last week to discuss 3 possible options, yet as the whole country has been in lockdown for 6 of the past 12 months it difficult to understand how it is possible that so little information about the plans is known by the Petersfield community.
For such a huge budget there should surely be an exhibition of plans, drawings, facilities and figures.
How many people actually know what is going on and at what expense to OUR local funding?
