Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey with Petersfield personalities and their stories.

We’ve gone a bit ‘Howards Way’ this week in the P pod and taken to the seas for a spot of sailing with Shine Radio’s Alan Cosh at the helm. We speak to Alan about his sailing background as well as the history of sailing in Petersfield.

While we get ready to set sail from Gosport, Stephen Martin, one of Shine Radio’s founders, gives an update on how the station is fairing as we celebrate a year of online content 24/7 and Judy Thompson, chair of the Steep Flower Show, reveals this year’s special anniversary.

As he climbs the rigging – or should that be walks the plank? – Jon Walker from the Petersfield Post has the latest news in our area and the Wildes visit Liss for a walk and an apres walk flapjack.

We end the P pod with some chilled summery vibes from local musician Vic Cracknell and his song ‘Summer Days’.

The P pod is hosted by Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey. Tuesdays at 9, Wednesday’s at 7 and always online at Shineradio.uk
