Sheet village could become a permanent home for rural theatre

That’s the aim of local impressario Greg Mosse who is staging a play in Sheet Village Hall tomorrow night.

He believes there’s a new opportunity to bring professional theatrical productions into rural villages across England and is seeking arts council funding to help launch a scheme.

Greg says Sheet is an ideal place to be part of a rural theatrical circuit – he chats to Laura Sheppard about his play with songs, The Unquiet Grave, that is being performed there on Saturday.
