Pub operators in Steep are having to deal with three uninvited guests after an unknown individual dumped chickens in a field.
The clucking birds were left at The Harrow Inn in Steep.
Pub owner Clare McCutcheon and colleague Harriet Plant describe what they found when they went to feed their chickens, how it’s not the first case of chicken dumping at the pub, and what fate the abandoned cockerel is likely to face now.
Harriet also explains how she has faced personal abuse after appealing for people not to dump their chickens.
