Hugh Bonneville talks to Noni Needs about the Festival Hall Public Consultation Roadshow down in Petersfield’s Square this Sunday 17th October.
The Roadshow between 12 and 3pm is going to be a fun event with music and entertainment.
Hugh will be there to look at plans and encourages all to get involved. Have your say about what you want to see in the future plans of the Festival Hall. He answers Why community buildings are so important.

It would be lovely if the space could be used for more young people in the shape of bands or comedy shows. Dancing and fun.
At the moment it is a dowdy but functional space but I wouldn’t want to hold a party there for friends. It could be brought up to date and be the “place to be seen”. With room for catered dining and dancing.
A proper and comfortable cinema with truly good sound.
Theatre and music events work pretty well there but it could be so much better.
