Christmas tree shredding raising funds for new plantings in Buriton

Christmas trees are not just for Christmas, as a Buriton tree surgeon has shown at the weekend.

Tree warden Matt Marriott offered to chip and dispose of local Christmas trees in the pond car park on Saturday morning for a small fee with all funds going towards planting new trees locally – as he tells Shine Radio’s Jo Gray.
