Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey with Petersfield personalities and their stories.

The P pod comes from Rake this week as part of our continuing ‘local villages’ series.

While Rake might be a sleepy countryside village now, it was a haven for smugglers back in the day as we find out more from residents Leslie Lloyd and Maureen Keel, and Alison Glasspool enthuses about the strong sense of community in the village.

With local news, a Wilde Walk and music from Southsea musician Tash Hills.

The P pod is presented by Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey. Tuesday evenings at 9, Wednesday evenings at 7 and always online at shineradio.uk
