Seven refugees from Ukraine are now known to be in Petersfield and the villages with many more expected.
A number of local agencies are co-ordinating efforts to provide a helpful welcome to them, supported, as ever, by the generosity of local people.
Steve Field chairs the Agencies Working Together group, led by Petersfield Town Council. He told Shine Radio’s Stephen Martin what preparations are being made for the next wave of Ukrainians who are likely to make their home here.
