As well as the ‘unexpected addition’ to the planned training schedule the crew made the most of the time it took for the specialist recovery truck to arrive – talking to local residents, showing the ‘nee-naw’ to children and even arranging to fit smoke detectors in a vulnerable household… until they got out of the ‘sticky situation!
