You don’t get this on Radio 2 (and possibly for good reason). It’s a twenty-five minute outdoor group set from fifty energetic drummers.
The drumming group from Portsmouth got the Green Fair 2022 off to an energetic and noisy start on Sunday.
Hear how Batala Portsmouth played an opening set of continuous Samba Reggae styles. Around fifty of the group’s drummers entertained the crowds at the Sustainability Centre.
You’ll also hear leader Lindsey Holloway, and drummers Charlotte and Lex.
Turn it up loud for the full effect. If your neighbours complain about the dull thud of bass drum through the wall, turn it up more so they can hear it properly.
