Local police want our help to identify a man from CCTV pictures after an assault in Petersfield.

The man is pictured in these images released by Hampshire Constabulary.

Officers want to speak to him in connection with an assault that took place in the early hours of Saturday the ninth of April.

The incident followed a disagreement in The George pub and left one man in his 20s with serious head injuries. It happened on Chapel Street close to the kebab shop.

Three teenage men have already been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They include an 18 and a 19 year old from Petersfield, and an 18 year old who had come to our town from Liphook. All three were released while enquiries continue.
