Martin Muncaster reads vintage news on Petersfield’s Shine Radio

For the Jubilee Celebrations, Shine Radio brought back memories 1950s Petersfield through music, stories and local voices.

As part of our festive programmes, legendary local newsman Martin Muncaster broadcast Petersfield news stories from the 50s in special bulletins through the day.

Now you can listen to them at any time right here.

The bulletins were recorded in Martin’s home by the River Rother in Steep and researched with help from Sophie Yaniw at Petersfield Museum. The script editor was Stephen Martin.
