Environmental activists in Petersfield are concerned that Hampshire County Council is still using a controversial weedkiller around our town.

The authority is responsible for the eradication of weeds on public highways. It is conducting a trial of a different possible control methods, including spot treatment of weeds using the chemical.

Julie Munslow-Webster believes she fell ill after being exposed to the herbicide. Now she supports a call to end the use of glyphosate entirely and says there are far better alternatives.

Julie is speaking to Shine Radio’s Stephen Martin.
