The Shine Radio volunteers put on their dancing shoes for Petersfield’s Sunflower Festival, held to raise money for the people of Ukraine

Having a break from interviewing the bands our roving reporter Jo Gray had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Tatyana and Iva – two of our local Ukrainian refugees. We hear how important it is for us not to forget the war in Ukraine, that ‘every pound helps us to help families, our home’ and the importance of being together.

The charity event was held at Petersfield’s Festival Hall – made possible by a team of volunteers and musicians performing for free.
