Our lido celebrates 60 years of outdoor swimming

Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool is celebrating 60 years in Hi-di-hi fashion.

A wonderful day was had by many keen swimmers and non-swimmers, and Alan Cosh went along to join in the fun and meet the cast of the Yellow Coats, as well as Peggy who isn’t a Yellow Coat.

The original Mr Jeffrey Fairbrother (principal actor) was played by Simon Cadell. Simon was educated at Bedales in the 60s.
