Come for Lunch at a secret garden location, just outside MIdhurst. Meet in a carpark and then decant onto a minibus. Who could refuse?

Such was the invitation form the Rogate Ladies Bookclub: (Left to Right) Clare Boyd-Wallis, Anna Phillips, Julie Sprackling, Lou Gray, Sally Wells and Alex Browne. How could Noni Needs refuse.

The Woolbeding Gardens is run by the National Trust and open from April to September, Thursdays and Fridays. There’s a lot to discover and taking a lovely lunch is a fine way to spend sometime with friends.

There’s the Woolbeding Glasshouse, William Pye Water Sculpture, beautiful gardens and places to picnic with a great cafe.

Listen to find out what more there is to do.

Visitor Warning: You must book the minibus to visit
