Val Hart BEM has volunteered with Petersfield organisations for 37 years.
Her support of groups that include Save The Children, the Petersfield Theatre Group Winton House and the Petersfield Free Shop led her to be named as a medallist of the Order of the British Empire in the King’s first New Year honours.

Ann Pinhey BEM received recognition for music, choirs and charity. Ann leads the Gemini Consort choir. On a summer’s day you can hear the sound of her piano drifting out from open windows of her apartment across The Square.
Louise Wilders BEM is named for her work in Portsmouth at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Louise works with Portsmouth City Council and lives in Petersfield, off Pulens Lane.
