The bus stop in Petersfield Square

Bus services through Petersfield will cost no more than two pounds until the summer.

The discount scheme has been operating since the beginning of the year. Now, the Department of Transport has agreed to extend it until June.

It means most bus passengers in Petersfield will pay no more than two pounds to ride a bus.

Routes through our town from Havant, Winchester, Waterlooville and Midhurst are among those included.

Routes

These routes are part of the scheme:

37, 37X, 38X, 54, 67, 91, 92, 93 and 737.

They are operated by Stagecoach South.

The government has not included the 94 cross-Petersfield bus service in its published list of discounted journeys. We’ve asked its operator AMK to explain why they have not joined the scheme and will publish any response we receive.
