Cyclists from Rogate have raised £10,000 for the Stroke Association

3 friends, 2 bikes and a Penny Farthing have smashed their target riding the Hebridean Way and reaching Ness, in Lewis.

Jack Ray, Simon Wells and Tom Clowes still have the return 100 mile journey to Inverness to cycle and set off this morning. Simon Wells said: “This is the hardest part, riding into a head wind down an 8 degree incline, it is brutal.”

They talk about the joy of reaching over £10,000 and thank the Island community for its generosity and support. Plus the BBC were there to film their triumph.
