How to get elected as Town Mayor – an insight from Petersfield’s Town Clerk

Ever wondered how the Town Mayor ‘gets the job’? Our roving reporter Jo Gray wondered exactly that and met Town Clerk Neil Hitch at Petersfield Town Council to find out more. The interview took place the day before Cllr JC Crissey was elected as Petersfield Town Mayor on Thursday, 11 May 2023.
