Discussions continue with two local councils after a popular Petersfield fitness scheme was threatened with eviction.
Mark Allen runs Body Fitness Camp at Love Lane. He says he was granted permission from Petersfield Town Council four years ago but that the council now wants him to apply for a “change of use” or stop.
Former councillor Paul Milner has been trying to support Mark and get to the bottom of the situation. It’s confusing, partly because it involves the town council which owns Love Lane playing fields and the district council which manages planning and licensing.
We also hear from Sue Powney who says Mark’s classes have improved her wellbeing, and Steven Field of Petersfield Town Council who explains there remains hope for the classes.
