Tod Apps was able to pop into Harting Primary school a month or so ago to discuss the Coronation Wildlife Garden that was transformed in Harting mainly by local parish and volunteers.

The community came together to transform a small overgrown area that wasn’t being used, into a hive of excitement for insects and local wild life.

Head teacher Nick Tidey expels excitement and exuberance when discussing the project and anything to do with his role with Harting primary school.

The area transformed is a space for children to learn and enjoy through learning about species of plants and insects.

The space will also be used by the local community to visit and reap the rewards of the hard work that has gone into it.
