Recollections of a retired nurse and a touch of times gone by

As the NHS celebrates 75 years we hear from retired Petersfield resident Miriam ‘Mim’ Ellis.

Miriam shares some personal recollections from her 40-year career in nursing with Jo Gray. We hear how some things have changed whilst other aspects of the profession, such as tireless dedication, compassion, and kinship, continue today.

    What an amazing story,a real credit to the NHS of years gone by.I’m Mims sister,& I’m so proud of all that she did in caring for oher people.She’s a very special lady.I live in Edinburgh & it has made my day.Maggie Bryant.
