Lisa and Eddie Simmons are retiring after 36 years of trading as Liss’ Jade News.
The newsagents talk to Liss resident and customer, Noni Needs about their first day of opening in 1987.
What they will miss and not miss, how things have changed and give their thanks to the local community and their customers.
We hear from a previous paperboy who now works at IBM, customers and the Simmons’ son, Andrew and his wife who also help out at the shop.
