Borne out of covid 19, The Ambling Path is the brainchild of Sally Broom who overcame stifling lockdown restrictions by painstakingly researching maps and websites to make up circular routes for her family to enjoy when allowed out. Since then, she has recorded hundreds of walks throughout beautiful locations in Hampshire and across Surrey and the South Downs for families to enjoy, discovering new play areas, paddling locations and even hidden wooden sculptures, accumulating over 13,000 Facebook followers along the way. Listen as Theodora Eleni talks to her to find out why she did it, what makes the Ambling Path so popular and which of Sally’s walks are her favourites’.
