Donations are being made in Petersfield and the villages for this year’s poppy appeal.

The Royal British Legion appeal was launched locally on Thursday with a stand in Petersfield’s Square.

Councillor James Deane attended the launch, together with Petersfield mayor, councillor J C Crissey.

Campaigner Daz told us that, for him, this year’s appeal is as important as ever. He’s speaking to Shine Radio’s Stephen Martin.

Petersfield’s Remembrance Day ceremony will be held on Sunday 12 November.
