As part of a fundraising team Cllr Chris Paige of Petersfield Town Council, who is also chair of the local branch of the Royal British Legion, took part in a fundraiser for homeless military veterans.
Local volunteers spent the night under the stars as part of The Great British Sleep Out at The Avenue playing field at the weekend (24 hours from Saturday 9 March until Sunday 10 March).
It’s a cause close to Chris’s heart having been homeless for eighteen months after leaving the British Army.
Our roving reporter Jo Gray went to support & literally took a tumble. All in the name of community radio!

Is the GTSO taking place again in Petersfield in 2025, and if so how do I get in touch with them?
Hi Billy, you can contact Cllr Chris Page at Petersfield Town Council & he should be able to advise if anything is planned for this year.
