Frontline Debt advice, based on Chapel Street in Petersfield, helped 64 people manage debt last year and 34 people right now.
The Lions have donated more money to them to help those struggling with energy bills.
Peter Gaut, an adviser at Frontline, spoke to Mike Waddington about how they help those in debt, often referred by the NHS Social Prescribers, to manage and can include a grant for energy bills, courtesy of Petersfield Lions Club.
Peter says many of those struggling also have other vulnerabilities – like mental health worries, loneliness — so offer help with ‘life after debt.’
