Dogs for Autism, a local assistance dog charity is seeking to fill the role of puppy parent to two of its upcoming training litter, which will arrive at the training school in April.

Puppy parents provide a home for the puppies in training to return to at the end of each training day. Food, veterinary expenses are all taken care of by the charity.

Their role is an essential part of socialisation, and they can take the puppy almost everywhere with them.

Founder and Chief Executive of the charity,Hilary Armour, explains what the voluntary role is all about to Dogs with Jobs presenter, Kate Fairweather.
