The landlord, Mr Naef, has appealed to the Secretary of State against the decision not to approve his planning application for the units on Bakery Lane, which include the Blacksmith’s Daughter and the Fez restaurant.
The appeal commenced on 8 May and objections can be made – or withdrawn – up to 12 June.
The owner of the florists, the Blacksmith’s Daughter, Christina (her father was a blacksmith in MIdhurst) says it’s the final roll of the dice
