This year Herne Junior School in Love Lane, Petersfield is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. A special exhibition was recently held in the school hall as one of the many celebrations taking place over the school’s golden year.
The event was held on Saturday 28 June, included displays of photos from the archives and favourite toys from over the decades. A special board was filled with entries from past pupils from near and far, sharing their careers and travels – a real inspiration to the pupils of today.
Jo Gray met Headteacher Susan Sayers at the event. We hear about the various changes over the years and touch on what’s to come.
