Petersfield Town Council has agreed £15,000 for additional aeration equipment at The Heath Pond.

This is include installation of 12 callbrated disc diffusers, connected via self sinking tubing to avoid disruption to fishing, boating or netting activities.

Volunteer Senior Fishing Bailiff spoke at the meeting and said it will bring long term benefits. It will balance the pond and should prevent the blue green algae from blooming.
