Hampshire Healthy Families provides new parents with confidence building information.

The Health Visiting service works with partner Barnardo’s to provide workshops in informal settings including the Heath (for a walk every Monday at 1:30pm) and the Library.

Speaking to Mike Waddington, Sophie Williams from Barnardo’s tells us more about them and how they build confidence in new parents.

The workshops are free to attend.

Sarah James is a Health Visitor at the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and she explains the service, the high impact areas they underline and contacting them – also with a handy texting services to ask questions and seek advice from the Health Visiting Team.
