The local Current Affairs group, in its last meeting of 2025, turned its attention to compassion for animals in food.
Phil Brooke, 27 years at Compassion in World Farming, in a visit to Petersfield this week, spoke about work with farmers and supermarkets to end bad practice.
He highlights, talking to Mike Waddington, how partnership has helped improve things and how the consumer can help.
