The programme editor, Debra Shipton picks her favourite moments from the P pod in 2025.

From a pantomime to a cart race and from a walk in support of prostate cancer awareness to the Petersfield awards, Shine Radio microphones have captured the stories and events of the year.

Presented by Julie Butler, Phill Humphries, Laura Sheppard, Andy Catto, Mark Waddington, Stephen Martin and Mark Simpson. The P pod is planned by Ann Marden and the team and is edited by Debra Shipton.

What is the P pod?

Always on location, the P pod is where Shine Radio meets people across the area to celebrate the huge range of positive contributions they make to the local community.

Fun fact: the P pod is older than Shine Radio. We started making it as an original Petersfield podcast in 2019. The first presenters were Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey. Both are still volunteers with our project.
