Almost 150 people attended the funeral in St Mary Magadalen in Sheet, to loud big band music on Wednesday 11 March.
Survived by his wife and daughter, mother and brother, Martin was a Petersfield Town Councillor but was probably most well known for the 61 charity markets organised over the years to raise funds for cancer services and research, with his brother Jeremy, who delivered an affectionate tribute at the event.
