Kyra Van Damme’s home is in the Netherlands and she is in Petersfield for 10 weeks, to learn more about the language and overlapping culture.
One of the things she did to do that was to volunteer at Winton House, answering the phones and working in the community cafe.
Speaking to Mike Waddington she talks about why she is volunteering here and what she is learning about us and finds we have much in common, not least William III in the Square.
