Local resident and actress Joely Richardson opened Bramshott Open Gardens on Saturday 13th June.

Best known for Nip/Tuck, Downton Abbey The Finale, 101 Dalmatians and The Gentleman, Joely has been a visitor before, with her mother Dame Vanessa Redgrave.

Every two years since it started in 1987, Bramshott residents open their beautiful gardens and offer refreshments and advice and you can also buy plants, drinks, afternoon tea and barbecue food in the churchyard. The weekend ticket covers both days and there are minibuses for the gardens further away. Mark Simpson caught up with Joely on Saturday.
