We’re delighted to announce that Shine Radio has been nominated in the Arts & Entertainment category at the Petersfield Awards 2026!
The nomination recognises Shine Radio’s contribution to the local arts, entertainment and creative community, as well as our ongoing work to bring local voices, stories, events and talent to audiences across Petersfield and the surrounding area.
As a community radio station, we’re proud to provide a platform for local musicians, performers, artists, event organisers and other creative people and helping to showcase the fantastic talent and activity happening right here in our community.
And there’s more reason to celebrate, as two of our volunteers Joff Lacey and Geoff Wootton have been nominated in the Petersfield Personality category. They are known on air for their Joffin’ and Geoffin’ programme and you may have seen them around the Petersphere compering at local events.
Voting is open until the 11th October and the glitzy awards night takes place at Churcher’s College on Friday 23rd October.
You can vote here.
