Discover the importance of a photograph as we share with you just some of the incredible photos from the Don Eades Collection.
Local press photographer, Don Eades was a well-loved figure in the town and surrounding area whose work captured the life of local residents from the 1960s to the 1980s. Join us as we explore the work that has been carried out by volunteers to conserve and share more than 100,000 photographic negatives that Don donated to the Museum and their importance to capturing the changes in the town over three decades.
This relaxed informal evening will also include a chance to talk about some of the images on display and give you the opportunity to share your memories of Don and the town whose development and people he captured so well.
Includes FREE Don Eades ‘There’s no harm in a smile’ booklet.
