Museum Elevenses: ITS Rubber Factory

The ITS rubber factory of Sandringham Road was one of the towns largest employers and manufactured everything from soles of shoes, components for Concorde and Minibrix. Closing in 1986 there are still many people in Petersfield who remember working at the factory or remember their parents bringing home Minibrix from their shift!

Grab a complimentary tea or coffee and join us as we look through our Photography Archive for images of the people, places and events relating to the ITS Rubber Co.

Whether you want to share your memories of the factory or want to discover more about this part of the towns history there is something for everyone.

Museum Elevenses are a FREE drop in session where you are able to pop in or out at any point during the event.
No Booking Necessary.
Participation does not include general admission.
